The game between third ranked Legia W-wa (21-8) and fourteenth ranked Biofarm PZN (9-20) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Legia W-wa was edged by Biofarm PZN in a tough game in Warszawa 71-74. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Legia W-wa. The best player for the winners was Mikolaj Kurpisz (202-98) who scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) chipped in 10 points and 4 assists. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Adam Linowski (201-87, agency: Promotex) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Lukasz Wilczek (190-86) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Biofarm PZN moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with AZS AWF Mick. and Slask 2 Wroclaw. Legia W-wa at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Biofarm PZN is looking forward to face AZS AWF Mick. (#13) in Katowice in the next round. Legia W-wa will play on the road against SKK Siedlce (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
