Very expected game when 15th ranked Fondi (3-23) lost at home to seventh ranked Scauri (15-10) 96-78 on Saturday. The former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Leonardo Salvadori (198-93) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Alessandro Di Giacomo (206-88) replied with 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Antonello Lilliu (182-82) added 22 points in the effort for Fondi. Five Scauri and four Fondi players scored in double figures. Scauri moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with Milano Urania. Loser Fondi dropped to the sixteenth position with 23 games lost. Scauri will face Roma Luiss (#10) at home in the next round. Fondi will play against Roma S.Azzurra (#12) and hope to win that game.
