We should mention about the upset which took place in Moletai, where higher ranked Petrochema (17-21) lost to thirteenth ranked Ezerunas-Karys (13-25) in a road game 78-82. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 25-20 run, which allowed them to win the game. Ezerunas-Karys forced 21 Petrochema turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Petrochema helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Tomas Zdanavicius (204-96) notched 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and point guard Dominykas Zupkauskas (188-96) supported him with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Five Ezerunas-Karys players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by forward Karolis Sarukas (198-95) did not help to save the game for Petrochema. Point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (185-85) added 13 points for the guests. Petrochema's coach Kestutis Narusevicius rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ezerunas-Karys maintains thirteenth position with 13-25 record. Petrochema at the other side keeps the ninth place with 21 games lost.
