Date: March 19, 2016
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Gevgelija where 5th ranked Kozuv (10-10) was defeated by sixth ranked Rabotnicki (9-12) 81-75 on Saturday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 20-9. But Kozuv won second period 26-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rabotnicki made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. The former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Serbian guard Petar Nikolic (-93) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American point guard Ryan White (180-88, college: Texas St.) with 17 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Stojan Gjuroski (203-91, college: Louisiana Tech) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds.
