Rather predictable result when eighth ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (13-15) smashed at home bottom-ranked Gaz Metan (4-24) 94-58. The game without a history. CS Dinamo Bucuresti led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gaz Metan's 32. They outrebounded Gaz Metan 35-24 including a 24-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. CS Dinamo Bucuresti players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Gaz Metan's players. It was a good game for Lithuanian point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Bosnian-Serbian guard Marko Sutalo (194-83, agency: PEPI SPORT) contributed with 12 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five CS Dinamo Bucuresti players scored in double figures. The former international center Ionut Dragusin (221-85) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Gaz Metan. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CS Dinamo Bucuresti moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Phoenix Galati. Gaz Metan lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. CS Dinamo Bucuresti's next round opponent will be Pitesti (#9) on the road. Gaz Metan will play against BC Timisoara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
