Regular Season Round 40: BK Pardubice - BK Kolin 109-77

No shocking result in a game when third ranked BK Pardubice (24-14) smashed at home 5th ranked BK Kolin (19-18) 109-77 on Saturday. The game without a history. BK Pardubice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to BK Kolin's 46. They outrebounded BK Kolin 40-24 including 17 on the offensive glass. BK Pardubice looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by BK Kolin's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovakian Dusan Pandula (196-84) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 assists and American guard Lamb Autrey (190-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) who added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Five BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Ladislav Horak (205-86) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Lee Skinner (198-92, college: Wofford) scored 12 points. BK Kolin's coach Predrag Benacek gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. BK Pardubice have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 24-14 record having three points less than leader BK Decin. Loser BK Kolin keeps the fifth place with 18 games lost. BK Pardubice will meet MMCITE Brno (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BK Kolin will play against Basketbal Svitavy (#8) and hope to secure a win.
