Gorizont fired past Olimpia to gain 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. Olimpia GrGAU was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 41-23 second half run of Gorizont. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Olimpia GrGAU to just 7 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Olimpia GrGAU 37-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Gorizont players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Olimpia GrGAU's players. International guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists for the winners and center Olga Vashkevich (189-88) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Alena Holubeva (175-94) responded with 17 points and the former international Maryia Filonchyk (189-92) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Olimpia GrGAU's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
