No shocking result in a game when third ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (6-3) defeated on the road 10th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (1-5) 82-73. The winners were led by American guard Jeff Ledbetter (190-88, college: Idaho) who scored that evening 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Carldell Johnson (177-83, college: UAB) supported him with 11 points and 7 assists. Four Lobos UAD Mazatlan players scored in double figures. Lobos UAD Mazatlan's coach Eric Weissling allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 27 points by Trinidad and Tobago-American point guard Ian Young (191-81, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Caballeros de Culiacan. Forward Mauricio Cheda (198-90, college: UTEP) added 12 points for the hosts. Lobos UAD Mazatlan have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Caballeros de Culiacan lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
