Telsiai was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Petrochema forced 26 Telsiai turnovers and had a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Petrochema made 7 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Telsiai helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Tomas Milinskas (202-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Ricardas Verbickas (191-95) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Petrochema's coach Kestutis Narusevicius used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Laurynas Kaveckis (190-90) added 19 points and 4 steals in the effort for Telsiai. Five Telsiai players scored in double figures.
