The game between sixth ranked USK Praha (18-20) and 12th ranked BK Lions Hradec (9-29) in Praha on Wednesday ended with biggest points difference. USK Praha outscored guests from J.Hradec 91-66. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. USK Praha dominated on the defensive end, holding BK Lions Hradec to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded BK Lions Hradec 44-21 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for USK Praha especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. American forward Jayon James (198-92, college: La-Monroe) came up with 20 points and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Stephon Lamar (184, college: Pacific) added 15 points respectively for BK Lions Hradec in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. USK Praha maintains sixth place with 18-20 record. BK Lions Hradec lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games. USK Praha will meet at home higher ranked BK Opava (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Lions Hradec will play against NH Ostrava (#7) and hope to secure a win.
