Good Angels fired past Banska Bystrica to open win count in the quarterfinal series. The game without a history. Good Angels led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Banska Bystrica's 18. They outrebounded Banska Bystrica 40-23 including a 32-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Good Angels looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Banska Bystrica's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Beata Janoscikova (197-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Good Angels players scored in double figures. International forward Miroslava Mistinova (182-97) answered with 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Radka Stasova (168-97) added 11 points in the effort for Banska Bystrica. Banska Bystrica's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
