1/8 Finals Round 2: Petrochema - Telsiai 80-63

Petrochema rallied past Telsiai to secure 2-0 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Petrochema. Telsiai managed to win second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Telsiai 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Petrochema looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Telsiai's players. Forward Vytautas Kruzikas (203-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Nerijus Barauskas (207-92) replied with 16 points and forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) added 11 points in the effort for Telsiai. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
