Semi-Finals Game 4: Fuerza Regia - Pioneros 73-94

Pioneros stepped closer to the Finals as they rallied past Fuerza Regia for 3-1 lead in the series. The game without a history. Pioneros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fuerza Regia's 22 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Fuerza Regia 41-26 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pioneros players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Hector Hernandez (205-85, college: Fresno St., agency: Pro Sports) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Adam Parada (213-81, college: Cal-Irvine) who added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Pioneros players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) responded with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import guard Bo Spencer (185-89, college: Nebraska) scored 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
