Quarter-Finals Round 4: Horsholm - Svendborg 90-72

Horsholm outgunned Svendborg to win the quarterfinal series 3-1. The game was mostly controlled by Horsholm. Svendborg managed to win second period 29-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Svendborg 43-21 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Horsholm looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. International forward Jonathan Gilling (203-91, college: Arizona St.) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Yates is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) produced 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import forward Darious Moten (198-92, college: Mercer) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
