Semi-Finals Game 3: Olimpia - Gorizont 57-64

Gorizont knocked down Olimpia on the road to take 2-1 lead in the semifinal series. It looked good early as Olimpia GrGAU took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gorizont had a 15-7 second period charge getting the lead and Olimpia GrGAU was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 57-64. Gorizont dominated on the defensive end, holding Olimpia GrGAU to just 7 points in second quarter. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for international guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85) who led her team to a victory scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Center Olga Vashkevich (189-88) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Olga Kopylova (187-82) with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Maryia Filonchyk (189-92) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds.
