Regular Season Round 42: NH Ostrava - J.Hradec 103-88

Very predictable result when seventh ranked NH Ostrava (17-23) defeated at home bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec (9-30) 103-88 on Saturday. NH Ostrava outrebounded BK Lions Hradec 40-20 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). Forward Vojtech Bratcenkov (198-91) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Jayon James (198-92, college: La-Monroe) who recorded 23 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Cameron Wright (195-92, college: Pittsburgh) added 20 points and 5 steals respectively. Five NH Ostrava and four BK Lions Hradec players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. NH Ostrava maintains seventh position with 17-23 record. BK Lions Hradec lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 30 lost games. NH Ostrava will meet higher ranked BK Opava (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BK Lions Hradec will play against BK Usti nad Labem (#9) and hope to secure a win.
