Superleague top team - Kutaisi (15-8) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked MIA (5-18) in Tbilisi 79-65. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-65. Kutaisi dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to MIA's 18. The best player for the winners was the former international Beka Bekauri (207-91) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Croatian guard Ivan Mikulic (194-91) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Kutaisi's coach Kote Tugushi used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Akaki Lomouri (198-91) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Merab Bokolishvili (196-92) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts.
