Quarter-Finals Round 2: Fubon Braves - Yulon Luxgen 77-61

Fubon Braves knocked down Yulon Luxgen to gain 2-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Yulon Luxgen took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fubon Braves had a 21-12 second period charge getting the lead and Yulon Luxgen was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 61-77. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Yulon Luxgen's 28 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. International center Te-Wei Lee (201-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Shih-Yuan Chou (188-83) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
