Quarter-Finals Round 4: Tindastoll - Keflavik 98-68

Tindastoll cruised past Keflavik into the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by Tindastoll. Keflavik was better in fourth quarter 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Keflavik 51-29 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tindastoll players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Keflavik was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Helgi Viggosson (189-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 18 rebounds and guard Petur Birgisson (185-96) who added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Tindastoll players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Jerome Hill (198-94, college: Gardner-Webb) responded with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American-American guard Reggie Dupree (183-87, college: Faulkner) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
