Regular Season Round 25: Energa Czarni - Rosa Radom 70-62

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Rosa (20-6) against fifth ranked Energa Czarni (18-7) on Monday night. Visiting Rosa was defeated by Energa Czarni in a tough game in Slupsk 62-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rosa. The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 13 after three quarters before a 17-12 last quarter charge of Rosa cut the lead to 70-62 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Kacper Borowski (205-94) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest) answered with 22 points and international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Rosa. Rosa's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Energa Czarni maintains fifth place with 18-7 record. Rosa at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Anwil. Energa Czarni will play against Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosa will play against Stabill (#15) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
