Regular Season Round 26: Monaco - Orleans 81-76
Date: March 29, 2016
No shocking result in a game when second ranked Monaco (19-7) defeated at home 11th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (12-14) 81-76 on Tuesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 26-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard D.J. Cooper (183-90, college: Ohio) who scored 15 points and 9 assists. Jamaican-American power forward Adrian Uter (200-84, college: Hofstra) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Antoine Eito (186-88) produced 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Five Monaco and four Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. They have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Monaco maintains second position with 19-7 record having just one point less than leader Strasbourg. Loser Entente Orleans 45 keeps the eleventh place with 14 games lost. Monaco will face Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#5) on the road in the next round. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Paris-Levallois (#14) and hope to win that game.
