Semi-Finals Game 1: Snaefell - Valur 69-62

Snaefell topped Valur for the opening victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-12. But Valur won second period 17-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Snaefell forced 19 Valur turnovers. American point guard Haiden Palmer (173-91, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) nailed 31 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and international guard Gunnhildur Gunnarsdottir (176-90) accounted for 20 points and 6 rebounds. Snaefell's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Karisma Chapman (180-91, college: UAB) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 16 rebounds and center Ragnheidur Benonisdottir (185-94) added 11 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Valur in the defeat.
