Regular Season Round 43: MMCITE Brno - BK Kolin 105-75

We should mention about the upset which took place in Brno, where higher ranked BK Kolin (20-20) was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked MMCITE Brno (11-29) 105-75. The game without a history. MMCITE Brno led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Ernest Zeigler (196-91, college: TCU) who led the winners and scored 29 points and 8 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Michal Kremen (200-81) accounted for 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Four MMCITE Brno players scored in double figures. Montenegrin Bojan Bakic (195-83) came up with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American swingman Chris McEachin (198-89, college: Norfolk St.) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BK Kolin in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MMCITE Brno moved-up to tenth place. BK Kolin at the other side keeps the fifth position with 20 games lost. MMCITE Brno's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Prostejov on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Kolin will play against CEZ Nymburk and hope to win that game.
