Wisla Krakow outgunned visiting Energa Torun. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Energa Torun won fourth quarter 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Wisla Krakow made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game, while Energa Torun only scored eleven points from the stripe. Wisla Krakow forced 20 Energa Torun turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Energa Torun helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish point guard Cristina Ouvina (173-90) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her eight free throws). Spanish center Laura Nicholls (189-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 2 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. American point guard Matee Ajavon (170-86, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Renee Taylor (158-85, college: Miami, FL) added 5 points, 6 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Energa Torun. Energa Torun's coach Anatoly Buyalskiy tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
