Avenida coasted past Mann Filter in the opener. The game without a history. Perfumerias Avenida led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Perfumerias Avenida forced 27 Mann Filter turnovers and outrebounded them 36-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Leonor Rodriguez Manso (180-91, college: Florida St., agency: Regeneracom Sports) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Astou Ndour (198-94, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Perfumerias Avenida's coach Alberto Miranda felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with 16 points and 4 steals and guard Gabriela Ocete (170-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Mann Filter.
