Catz fired pat Huima to surge ahead in the semis. The game without a history. Catz Lappeenranta led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Aanekosken's 32. Catz Lappeenranta forced 21 Aanekosken turnovers and outrebounded them 47-35 including 33 on the defensive glass. American guard Jennifer Schlott (168-91, college: Utah St., agency: LBM Management) stepped up and scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Russian forward Elena Reshetko (184-86) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Sequoia Holmes (183-86, college: UNLV, agency: Merit Management Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import swingman Jazmine Perkins (178, college: Washington St.) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
