Regular Season Round 25: Dynamo - Cherkasy 102-82

An interesting game for Dynamo (24-9) which hosted in Kyiv 4th placed Cherkasy (18-14). Third ranked Dynamo had an easy win 102-82. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Dynamo made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Cherkasy's players. Naturalized Lithuanian center Michailis Anisimovas (215-84) stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and international guard Oleksandr Lypovyy (200-91) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. Dynamo's coach Vladimir Ryzhov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Anton Davydiuk (205-92) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Larry Hall (190-83, college: W.Oregon) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dynamo have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Dynamo maintains third place with 24-9 record having just one point less than leader Khimik. Cherkasy at the other side keeps the fourth position with 14 games lost.
