No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Milano Urania (16-10) won against on the road 15th ranked Moncalieri (5-21) 65-58 on Saturday. It was a great evening for guard Gianmarco Mariani (186-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Five Milano Urania players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Leone Gioria (194-84) with 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international power forward Francesco Conti (205-83) scored 8 points and 13 rebounds. Milano Urania maintains sixth place in B with 16-10 record. Newly promoted Moncalieri keeps the fifteenth position with 21 games lost. Milano Urania will face higher ranked Lecco (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Moncalieri will play against the league's leader Udine APU (#1) and hope to win that game.
