Quarter-Finals Round 2: Energa Torun - Wisla Krakow 72-88

Wisla outgunned Energa Torun on the road and iced the semifinal appearance. The game without a history. Wisla Krakow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Wisla Krakow looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Energa Torun's players. American forward Denesha Stallworth (190-92, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) notched 21 points to lead the effort and the former international forward Justyna Cegielska (188-85) supported her with 20 points. Even 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) by American point guard Matee Ajavon (170-86, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) did not help to save the game for Energa Torun. Her fellow American import guard Renee Taylor (158-85, college: Miami, FL) added 15 points for the hosts. Five Wisla Krakow and four Energa Torun players scored in double figures. Energa Torun's coach Anatoly Buyalskiy rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
