They were better in double-overtime eventually winning that period 8-8. Lahti forced 19 Tapiolan Honka turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lahti made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American guard Deonta Stocks (185, college: W.Georgia) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The former international Vesa Makalainen (200-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. Lahti's coach Arttu Mannelin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Jouko Jarvinen (192-87) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Anselmi Vanjoki (193-88) added 24 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
