Polonia Leszno thrashed Pelpin in the opener. Polonia Leszno held Pelplin to an opponent 23.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 55.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Polonia Leszno forced 27 Pelplin turnovers and outrebounded them 55-21 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Polonia Leszno especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Pelplin's players. Pelplin was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Marek Sobkowiak (200-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Karol Kasprzak (182-98) answered with 7 points and Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) added 6 points in the effort for Pelplin. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
