Finals Game 2: Tsmoki-Minsk - Gorizont 65-70

Gorizont upset Tsmoki-Minsk on the road once again closing on the title. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-17. But Tsmoki-Minsk won second period 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gorizont made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Tsmoki-Minsk turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Tsmoki-Minsk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (180-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 7 rebounds. International forward Nataliya Trafimava (185-79) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Gorizont's coach Nataliya Trafimava used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Lithuanian power forward Giedre Paugaite (193-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international center Viktoriya Hasper (192-88) added 12 points in the effort for Tsmoki-Minsk.
