Semi-Finals Game 3: Snaefell - Valur 78-71

Snaefell knocked down Valur to complete the sweep of the semifinal series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Valur won third quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Snaefell dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Valur's 26. Snaefell forced 19 Valur turnovers and outrebounded them 57-45 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Haiden Palmer (173-91, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. The former international forward Bryndis Gudmundsdottir (178-88) helped adding 22 points and 14 rebounds. Four Snaefell players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Karisma Chapman (180-91, college: UAB) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 22 rebounds and international guard Gudbjorg Sverrisdottir (180-92) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
