Semi-Finals Game 3: Catz - Huima 88-57

Catz overcame Huima to gain Finals appearance. It looked good early as Aanekosken took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Catz Lappeenranta had a 27-7 second period charge getting the lead and Aanekosken was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 57-88. Catz Lappeenranta dominated on the defensive end, holding Aanekosken to just 7 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Aanekosken's 26. Catz Lappeenranta had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for American Chandrea Jones (177-87, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) who led the winners and scored 31 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Russian forward Elena Reshetko (184-86) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Catz Lappeenranta players scored in double figures. American forward Sequoia Holmes (183-86, college: UNLV, agency: Merit Management Group) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) added 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Aanekosken in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
