Second Stage Round 15: Koping - Huddinge 63-69

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Koping (17-6) against sixth ranked Huddinge (12-11) on Wednesday night. Host Koping was defeated by Huddinge in a tough game in Koping 63-69. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-10. But Koping won second period 20-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Huddinge dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Koping's 28. Huddinge had a 40-28 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Samme Unger (-94) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds. Adam Fontaine (-95) accounted for 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Huddinge players scored in double figures. Center Mikael Axelsson (207-94) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and Daniel Friberg added 20 points respectively for Koping in the defeat. Huddinge maintains sixth place with 12-11 record. Newly promoted Koping keeps the second position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
