Second Stage Round 4: Szedeak - MAFC 101-96

Date: April 6, 2016
The game between closely ranked teams ended with top-ranked Szedeak's (3-0) home victory over 12th ranked MAFC (1-2) 101-96. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But MAFC won fourth quarter 27-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Szedeak players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead, agency: HMS) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (198-80) supported him with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 27 points and 9 assists by American point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin) did not help to save the game for MAFC. His fellow American import guard Rashad Anderson (196-83, college: Connecticut, agency: KBA/Omnia Europe) added 22 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Four Szedeak and five MAFC players scored in double figures. Szedeak maintains eleventh position in Division with 3-0 record. MAFC at the other side dropped to the thirteenth place with two games lost. Szedeak's next round opponent will be Jaszberenyi (#12) on the road. MAFC will play against Marso NYKK in Nyiregyhazi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
