Semi-Finals Game 3: HyPo - FoA 96-95

HyPo held off FoA to sweep the semifinal series. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 24-20 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. HyPo looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-77, college: Xavier, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international forward Anni Makitalo (175-91) helped adding 18 points and 11 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Precious Bridges (165-92, college: Mercer) with 34 points (!!!) and the other American import guard Candice Warthen (165-92, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Five HyPo and four Forssan Alku players scored in double figures.
