Semi-Finals Game 2: Alvik Basket - Lulea Basket 68-79

Lulea Basket upset Alvik Basket on the road to gain 2-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Alvik Basket took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Lulea Basket had a 29-13 second period charge getting the lead and Alvik Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-79. Strangely Alvik Basket outrebounded Lulea Basket 50-37 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Belgian Sofie Hendrickx (186-86) notched 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Katie Bussey (175-90, college: Montana St., agency: LBM Management) supported her with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by American center Shareta Brown (185-93, college: Wayne St., MI, agency: Merit Management Group) did not help to save the game for Alvik Basket. Her fellow American import guard Syessence Davis (170-93, college: Rutgers, agency: Merit Management Group) added 15 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the hosts. Alvik Basket's coach Francisco Pinto rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
