The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (11-6) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by eleventh ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (4-11) 102-92. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Darious Clark (190-90, college: Slippery Rock) scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Tyrone White (201-90, college: CSU Bakersfield) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: S.Mississippi, agency: SDJ Sports) with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Garra Canera de Navolato moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Agua Prieta. Rayos de Hermosillo at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. Garra Canera de Navolato will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rayos de Hermosillo will play again at home against Garra Canera de Navolato and is hoping to win this game.
