Quarter-Finals Round 5: Vytis - Petrochema 72-73

Petrochema snatched a tough road win over Vytis and sealed their Final Four appearance. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Vytis won fourth quarter 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Vytis 40-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. Forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) saved the victory by scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (185-85) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Petrochema's coach Kestutis Narusevicius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Ignas Vaitkus (183-98) answered with 19 points and 4 assists and forward Karolis Brusokas (200-91) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Vytis. Five Vytis players scored in double figures.
