Barrio Parque clinched the opening win as they rolled past Union SF at home court. The game was mostly controlled by Barrio Parque. Union SF was better in fourth quarter 29-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Barrio Parque shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Forward Nicolas Lauria (202-88) fired 27 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American-Uruguayan center Brian Craig (206-79, college: Miles, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). American power forward Jonathan Durley (203-88, college: Wichita St.) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and center Fernando Podesta (205-92) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Union SF's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
