Important game to mention about took place in Manati. Seventh ranked Piratas (13-14) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Manati (11-11) 83-81 on Thursday evening. Manati cut a 14-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. Piratas made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American-Italian guard Kevin Lisch (188-86, college: St.Louis) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international Elias Ayuso (190-77, college: USC, agency: Paris Global Sports) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Landon Milbourne (201-87, college: Maryland) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Dominican point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for Manati. Four Manati players scored in double figures. Piratas moved-up to sixth place. Manati at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Piratas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
