Union SF upset Barrio Parque to open win count in the series. The game without a history. Union SF led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Barrio Parque's 28 and made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Barrio Parque helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Jonathan Durley (203-88, college: Wichita St.) notched 26 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) to lead the effort and naturalized Italian Juan Kelly (190-88) supported him with 21 points. Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by forward Nicolas Lauria (202-88) did not help to save the game for Barrio Parque. Andres Mariani (188-87) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Four Union SF and five Barrio Parque players scored in double figures.
