Quarter-Finals Round 1: Valga - Kalev/Cramo 69-92

Kalev/Cramo cruised past Valga in the opening game of the playoffs. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. Valga managed to win second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Valga 41-25 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kalev/Cramo looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (184-89) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 assists for the winners and Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds. Five Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Kalev/Cramo's coach Alar Varrak felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Latvian center Jurijs Aleksejevs (202-85) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Kristo Saage (187-85) scored 10 points and 5 steals.
