Petrochemi are the new Superleague champions. They beat Naft Abadan tonight to complete the sweep of the championship series. The game without a history. Petrochimi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Naft Abadan's 18. Petrochimi forced 20 Naft Abadan turnovers. American guard Taquan Dean (193-83, college: Louisville, agency: Two Points) fired 24 points for the winners. International center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Bosnian point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, agency: Beo Basket) produced 22 points and forward M.Bagher Ghamari (195) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
