TU/Rock crushed TTU in the series opener. The game without a history. TU/Rock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TU/Rock outrebounded TTU 39-26 including 31 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international guard Tanel Kurbas (197-88) nailed 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international Janar Talts (205-83) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. Kiur Akenparg (190-88) came up with 15 points and 5 assists and international point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively for TTU in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
