Very important is a road loss of third ranked ZTE KK (3-3) against fourth ranked Atomeromu (2-4) on Saturday night. Visiting ZTE KK was crushed by Atomeromu in Paks 109-69. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ZTE KK to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to ZTE KK's 32. Atomeromu forced 21 ZTE KK turnovers and outrebounded them 38-22 including a 28-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 27 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard James Kinney (187-90, college: San Jose St., agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points. Despite that victory Atomeromu went down to fifth position (Division) due to points difference. Loser ZTE KK keeps the third place with three games lost. Atomeromu will meet league's second-placed Szolnok in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ZTE KK will play against Kormend and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
