There was an upset when higher ranked Banvit BK (15-11) lost to fourteenth ranked Yesilgiresun (9-17) in Giresun 86-94 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-86. Banvit BK was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Georgian forward Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points. Yesilgiresun moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Banvit BK keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Yesilgiresun will face higher ranked Royal Hali (#7) in Gaziantep in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
