The game between sixth ranked Huddinge (13-11) and 9th ranked Brahe Basket (1-23) in Huddinge on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Huddinge outscored guests from Huskvarna 100-54. The game without a history. Huddinge led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Brahe Basket's 38. They outrebounded Brahe Basket 43-22 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Huddinge looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Brahe Basket's players. Samme Unger (-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Center Martin Hyberg (211-90, college: Kirkwood CC) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Huddinge players scored in double figures. Huddinge's coach Iouannis Chatziathanasiou felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jordanian forward Ali Mamoun (185-83) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Vahe Gazigian added 11 points in the effort for Brahe Basket. The victory was the third consecutive win for Huddinge. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Helsingborg. Brahe Basket lost their fifteenth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 23 games lost.
