There was a minor upset in Arroyo Encomienda where 11th ranked Burgos (6-15) was outplayed by thirteenth ranked La Fecha (5-17) 81-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. La Fecha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Burgos to just 6 points in first quarter. La Fecha held Burgos to an opponent 23.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Burgos was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Jorge Martinez (181-96) scored 21 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Arturo Sarmiento (193-94, agency: Dynamics Global Management) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
